About this target
Promotes glycerol permeability and water transport across cell membranes. Plays important role in regulating stratum corneum and epidermal glyceral content. Involved in skin hydration, wound healing and tumorigenesis. Contain two tandem repeats each with three membrane-spanning domains and a pore-forming loop with the signature motif Asn-Pro-Ala.
