About this target
Receptor for several inflammatory C-C chemokines. May play a role in control of granulocytic lineage proliferation or differentiation. Interacts with PRAF2, HIV-1 surface protein gp120. Glycosylation on Ser-6 is required for binding with CCL4. Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Mulipass membrane protein.. Expression: Spleen, Thymus, myeloid cell line THP-1, promyeloblastic cell line KG-1a and on CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells. Lesser expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, small intestine and ovary and lung.
