About this target
Acts in early endocytic membrane fusion and membrane trafficking of recycling endosomes. Plays a role in myoblast fusion. Recruited to endosomal membranes upon nerve growth factor stimulation, indirectly regulates neurite outgrowth. Homooligomer, and heterooligomer with EHD2, EHD3 and EHD4, ATP-binding is required for heterooligomerization. Subcellular location: Cell membrane, Endosome, Membrane. Expression: testis.
