About this target

GAPDH Antibody FITC is the FITC-conjugated version of the GAPDH antibody GPDH-101AP, an affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal used in ELISA, IP, WB and reactive with Human, Mouse. The conjugate removes the need for a labeled secondary antibody in direct detection. For research use only. Catalyzes the conversion of D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) into 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate in glycolysis and the reverse reaction in gluconeogenesis. Also shows nitrosylase activity, thereby playing a role in nuclear functions. Modulates the organization and assembly of the cytoskeleton. Facilitates the CHP1-dependent microtubule and membrane associations through its ability to stimulate the binding of CHP1 to microtubules. Subcellular location: Cytoplasm, cytosol. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton. Nucleus. Note=Translocates to the nucleus following S-nitrosylation and interaction with SIAH1, which contains a nuclear localization signal.
