About this target
GCDH/GCD Antibody BIOTIN is the biotin-conjugated version of the GCDH/GCD antibody GCDH-101AP, an affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal used in ELISA, IP, WB and reactive with Human, Mouse, Rat. The conjugate removes the need for a labeled secondary antibody in direct detection. For research use only. Catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of glutaryl-CoA to crotonyl-CoA and CO(2) in the degradative pathway of L-lysine, L-hydroxylysine, and L-tryptophan metabolism. It uses electron transfer flavoprotein as its electron acceptor. Isoform Short is inactive. Subcellular location: Mitochondrion matrix.
