About this target
Insulin-regulated facilitative glucose transporter. Binds cytochalasin B in glucose-inhibitable manner. Interacts with AP2B1. Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein; Cytoplasmic vessicle membrane. Expression: Highly expressed in testis; lower amounts in other tissues. Down regulated by estrogen.
