About this target
Necessary for oligodendrocyte and motor neuron specification in the spinal cord. In the hindbrain it is needed in the development of somatic neurons. Interacts with NKX2-3. Subcellular location: Nucleus; Cytoplasm. Expression: Is expressed in the brain in oligodendrocytes. Is expressed strongly in oligodendrogliomas with weaker expression in astrocytomas.
