About this target
Hydrolyzes the second messenger cAMP, which is a key regulator of many important physiological processes. May be involved in maintaining basal levels of the cyclic nucleotide and/or in the cAMP regulation of germ cell development. Belongs to cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase family. PDE8B subfamily. Contains 1 PAC (Pas-associated C-terminal) domain. Contains 1 PAS (PER-ARNT-SIM) domain. Subcellular location: Cytosol.
