About this target
Regulates short term neuronal synaptic plasticity in dentate gyrus. Also associates with AMPA receptosr in synaptic spines, promotes AMPA receptor desensitization at excitatory synapses. Component of some AMPA receptors complex, and atleast composed of some AMPA receloptr, CACNG2, SHISA9 and also a low level of DLG7. Subcellular location: Cell projection; Single-pass type I membrane protein; Cell junction; Synapse. Expression: Brain specific, expressed mostly in neurons and most brain structures during embryonic and postnatal development.
