About this target
Subcellular location: cytoplasm, endosome membrane, preipheral membrane protein (Note: Localizes to tubular profiles adjacent to endosomes. Predominantly found in early not late endosomes). Expression: Down-regulated in Alzheimer disease. No polymorphism or variant is however associated with Alzheimer disease for VPS26A.
