About this target
RNase H1 Blocking Peptide is the antigenic blocking peptide for the Rnase H1 antibody RNASEH1-101AP. Pre-incubating the antibody with the peptide competes away specific binding, which helps confirm that a signal comes from the intended target. Supplied at 250 µg, for research use only. Endonuclease that specifically degrades the RNA of RNA-DNA hybrids. Plays a role in RNA polymerase II (RNAp II) transcription termination by degrading R-loop RNA-DNA hybrid formation at G-rich pause sites located downstream of the poly(A) site and behind the elongating RNAp II. Subcellular location: Cytoplasm.
