About this target
Receptor for interleukin-8, binding of IL-8 to the receptor causes the activation of neutrophils. This response is mediated by a G-protein which activates a phosphatidyinositol-calcium second messenger system. Binds to HIV-1 Tat and interacts with ARRB1. Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Expression: Up-regulated by CREB3.
